Wrong Tow Bracket in Aerator Spreader Box After Many Returns

Is it just me, or do they offer these poorly made products in hopes that the consumer will just fix them or not bother to repair them? In the process of building my new home, I spent so much of my time returning faulty, damaged, mislabeled, poorly engineered materials that I could have built a new home in that time.

This weekend I decided to purchase an aerator spreader to get my lawn looking good. I drove up Friday morning so I would not get stuck in the Saturday crowd. I bought the product and, like always, opened the box to make sure it was not damaged or missing parts.

Seemed like all was well until Saturday morning, when I wasted an hour trying to assemble it. It seems the wrong tow bracket was in the box, and as usual it had to be modified because none of the drilled holes matched. Like each other wasted trip, I loaded up the half-constructed heap of parts and dragged it to the return desk. Another wasted day of poor service from The Depot. It is not like Lowes is any better, in fact worse. Now I am spreading fertilizer by hand, refusing to buy anything that is so-called "American Made with no pride."
