Two Mail-In Rebates Rejected for Wrong Paperwork, Never Paid

The Home Depot rebate program is a scam. The paperwork was filled out properly and turned in on time for two rebates. Each time, a letter was sent saying the paperwork was wrong and they could not process the rebate.
I called both times with the information again. The second time I asked them to look at the original paperwork I sent, and they refused. Despite numerous complaints, I have yet to receive my rebate. Calling the Home Depot complaint department did not help either. The customer service department was unresponsive.
When possible, I suggest shopping elsewhere or demanding that Home Depot give you the rebate amount off at the time of purchase instead of mailing in a rebate. The people running the rebate center are incompetent and will not send you your rebate even when they say they will.
Home Depot's rebate system is a scam.
Home Depot's motto is "We can help." They did not help me. They wasted numerous hours of my time with their rebate scam.
