Dishonest marketing, awful construction / remodeling, poor customer service, unprofessional staff, failure to meet promised outcomes

My fiancee and I recently bought a condo (condo conversion) through this company, which also happen to be the developers. We added and extra $18,000 to our closing price to get the condo completely remodeled before moving in. It's all been downhill from the moment we bought the place.

Within the first week of us being there, our air compressor broke, there was no hot water, our phone lines had been cut, our dishwaher had been improperly installed, there was no coax cable in the house meaning we could not have TV until we ran the wiring, our lights flickered due to a possible short circuit, and our plumbing is loose in the bathroom.

Not only did this company fail to make sure our condo was in actual remodeled and move in ready condition, the building itself has much to be desired. The building has dead landscaping, a flooded parking lot, exposed moldy pipes in hallways, leaking washer/dryer units, faulty elevators, and most recently the pool was closed for not meeting the health inspection.

This company has yet to respond to any requests to have these problems fixed. They bandage everything so when you go in for walk throughs and to check out the building everything is lovely. But living there has been anything but that.

This company responds to complaints by passing it to other staff members. You end up speaking to five different people, and none of them say they can help you. It is incredibly frustrating and aggravating. All repairs have had to be done on our own, and now I'm sure they will refuse to compensate us.

What kind of company does this to home owners?! It's just ridiculous!
