Ripoff on Condo Rental at La Palapa in Puerto Vallarta

I also have been a victim of the scam by David Goldberg at Los Tules Real Estate. Myself and friends of mine booked both a studio and 2 bedroom/2 bath condo at La Palapa for the Christmas/New Year holiday. Our reservations were made through the website La-Palapa.com and all communication and confirmations were from "Dave". I have made repeated requests through both the website and telephone number for Los Tules Real Estate for them to reconfirm my reservation.in addition to that, I had a friend who lives in Puerto Vallarta and another friend who was visiting stop by LaPalapa to reconfirm my reservation. The people at the condo had no records of my reservation and would only say that each condo is individually owned and rentals are handled directly through the specific individual. The website La-Palapa.com looks like the official website for the condo. Having been to Puerto Vallarta many times, I immediatly recognized the pictures of both the building itself and the individual condo units. Because I was receiving no response to all of my requests for confirmation I googled Los Tules Real Estate and saw the previous posting dated 12/2/09. I am filing a fraudulent claim with my credit card company and also contacting the Texas Attorney Generals office. DO NOT BOOK ANY CONDO RESERVATIONS at this website. What was to be a wonderful 3 week vacation at Christmas/New Years has turned into a nightmare for myself and my travel companions.
