Cheap hot tub - not only in price

I purshased a Keys Backyard hot tub (Model number KBSB4315) through Costco on 12/20/05. Here are the problems I've had with it:

Cover fell apart after about 7 mos.
Jets and diverters fall off.
Mechanical Speaker lift device no longer lifts speakers at about 6 mos.
Headrest fell apart at about 6 mos.
Pump electrical control fuse blew at about 14 mos.
Lens cover to stereo controls fell off after 9 mos.
Access panel is warped and is pulling the staples out of the support frame on the back of the panels.
Left side waterfall only works when pump two is on. Pump two has one speed (high) and runs the hydro-therapy jets.

None of these issues are covered by the warranty. Keys claims the following Warranty
1 year Plumbing
2 years Equipment & Controls
3 years Shell Surface
5 year Spa Shell

Light bulbs, light lenses, FUSES, HEADRESTS, cabinet finish and filter are warranted at the time of delivery.in my case, the fuse resides in the electrical control box. Keys says because it is a fuse this is not warranted although they claim to have a two year warranty on electrical equipment.

Keys lists several other components that are integral to the hot tubs selling features that only have a 6 mos. Warranty. These items in my opinion only have about a 6mos. Useful life. After that the feature becomes useless and no longer under any warranty. This leaves the hot tub owner with the choice of repairing the feature item at great expense or not using the feature at all.

If I were to rank this on a scale of 1 - 5, I would give this hot tub a 2.5.
