Stolen Gift Card Not Replaced, Only 3.80 Dollars Refunded

I was in a gas station last night in Syracuse, NY, I bought 10 dollars of gas. I left the card on the counter for
1 minute. It wasn't used before and was a gift from my brother. It was stolen and 85 dollars was used. American Express send me to some guy in India who couldn't speak English. I went back to America to some supervisor who refused to give me my 100 gift card back. She said that I could get 3.80 back that was left on the card even that it was stolen. What a joke. Bad customer service and bad management.
Bad policy on stolen gift cards. How about putting a pin number on it. Then thieves won't use it. Another corporate ripoff. Nothing for the consumer. These corporations should relocate to India
or China. They stink.
