Missing the Most Important Event

I schedued the night before an immediate pick up at my home for 5:20am to go catch the bus that would have brought me to the annual career fair of my school which is in another city (I go to a different Campus). A taxi driver called me and said he was going to come pick me up in 10 minutes. After 15 minutes I call back and he said he wasn't sure anymore. I tried to call back again and he didn't pick up. I called the company and beside being very rude and careless all they didn't do absoluteky anything for me. A different can showed at 5:56am and obviously I had to miss the event since I was not going to be able to dbe there in 4 minutes (it's about an 8 miles drive). I missed the most important even for which I have been preparing for so many years and invested time off to attend, money, energy and so much more.

The commpany coldn't care less, probably even less than its horrible unreliable drivers. I was crying on the phone and they hung up on me saying in the most rude possible way that they could not do anything for me.
