Do not bring any non ferrous scrap here! They scam you big time!

I began taking all my non ferrous scrap metal to Pauls about 3 weeks ago. I brought them SOLID SHEET ALUMINUM which is going for $. 35 a pound, but they paid me for dirty aluminum, $. 19 a pound. I brought in copper #2 which they were paying $2.15 a pound for, but they told me half of it was aluminum (which it was not), so this guy they have working there who can hardly speak english just took the copper which he said was aluminum, and threw it away!!! He didn't even throw it in with my aluminum pile! When I told this guy I wanted to see his supervisor, he said he was just playing (his exact words, word for word were "Hey relax playa! I just messing around! You need to chill! You need to relax! Calm yourself! Calm!) (By the way, I was very calm) and took my copper out of the trash and paid me correctly for it. Another time I brought in a 70 pound aluminum sewer rodder, and this same guy said it was mostly steel (maybe about 2 pounds of it was steel) and he said it was no good to him, but once I broke it down and took the steel out and showed him, he gave me $. 19 a pound for it, and I was supposed to get $. 35 a pound for it. Stay far away from paul's!!!
