100 dollar deposit - then jacked the price

I wish I had done an internet search or two about these crooks. They said they would pick up in 10 days. Fortunately I was proactive in the process since I really needed this vehicle picked up in 10 days and really needed to avoid the exact scenario others are reporting. They had no intention of meeting their date - or even coming close to it. After having them assure me about their 1-10 day window over the phone along with the proof of insurance requirement, I provided the 100 dollar deposit. As the deadline starting approaching I started pressing them for specifics - like the haulers name so I could provide a release form and validate proof of insurance.
They then told me they started their 10 day window at the scheduled date I needed the vehicle picked up which would amount to 20 days minimum. If I wanted it sooner it would cost more. I started pressing them more about the details at which point they started yelling at me and telling me I was being "rude" to them.
Suffice to say I caught this early in the process and will hopefully be able to block the payment.
