Cars & Transport

This was the letter/complaint that we sent to them and have not yet received a response.
Quote #: 74316-QX
* When we spoke with your representative - Joe - he neglected to mention to us the 10-day pick-up window, when we agreed to use your service; he told us that it would be a 3-5 day pick-up window. We only saw mention of the 10-day pick-up window, when we saw the contract.
* 1st available date for pick-up was 5/14/09, but car was NOT picked up until 5/26/09 - that was a 13-day window opposed to a 10 day window as stated on the contract.
* Joe, from your office, mentioned to us that we would receive 24-hour notice before our vehicle would be picked up. We received a call from the truck driver that he was ready to pick-up our vehicle, when he was 1-hour away from the pick-up location. We had to scramble to find someone to be there last minute, since we had already left the state at that time. We also received an e-mail the same day that it was going to be picked-up.
* The truck driver did not have sufficient directions to the pick-up location; we had to get on the internet to give him sufficient directions.
* The truck driver requested to pick-up the vehicle from a large parking lot, so the person present during the pick-up had to be inconvenienced by driving the car to the lot and having to take a taxi home, after we told him that they would be picking it up from the house. Joe, from your office, told us that they will have room to pick-up in front of our home, after we asked him if we needed to bring the car to a large parking lot; however, he said it was not necessary.
* We received a call from a lady in your office (whose name we did not even catch because she spoke so quickly - think her name was Denise or Debbie), when our vehicle was picked up, that we needed to $525.00 COD. (instead of $500.00). She said that our account would be credited the $25.00; however, we still have not received that credit post to our account.
We will be posting this same complaint on the Better Business Bureau & consumer complaints websites. We have been very unhappy with this entire process. The only thing that we were happy with was receiving our car in one piece.
We were thinking about using your service again to transport another vehicle, but we are seriously ruling that out of consideration.
