I needed my car shipped from the East Coast to Phoenix. I came across this company because of how high it appeared on my Google search. When I did a check on the Better Business Bureau, there was a company with a VERY similar name listed as satisfactory. I didn't question it and assumed they were a legitimage business.

We needed the car picked up by the end of September because we were flying to Phoenix. Because they needed someone to sign off on the car, we needed to be present when they arrived.

We placed our order for pickup TWO Weeks in advance, and paid in full. We were told that we'd receive a call within 24 hours of pickup. They also state in their follow-up email to expect a 2-3 day window for pickup. Below is a copy of their email:

The quote amount includes full insurance coverage, door to door service. To serve you better, we prefer to have your paperwork in at least one week prior to the date you will have your vehicle available for shipment. Expect a 2-3 day window for pick up and 7-14 days transit time for moves over 1,500 miles.

'Guaranteed Delivery', is a service which specifies an exact delivery date, is also available (at additional cost.)

Within the 24 hour period that we had requested, we recieved no phone call. We inquired and they said we'd receive a call. Days 2 and 3 went by and still no call.

We called them back and asked specifically when they thought they could pick it up. They said that this job has been out for bid and they should be hearing something shortly. This was exactly what they told me earlier and nothing had changed. I told them I needed to go with a carrier who could pick it up as requested, but they said they needed charge a cancellation fee. I told them that I'm not cancelling the contract just because I felt like it, but because I had NO OPTIONS with the car or with them. Since they were not able to provide service in the 2-3 days that THEIR OWN CORRESPONDENCE says they can, I needed to look at other options.

In the end, I had to sell my car to a friend and buy a new one. This was a net loss of about $8,000 dollars, since I had to sell my car at a loss and buy a new car that I was not intending on buying.

But, the one victory was that I pursued this through my credit card company and they withheld payment on this company and considers this matter resolved. Plus I got a nicer car, so I can't complain too much. But this company cannot be trusted to do the job it says it can do.
