Car stero and servive agreement rip off

Car stereo crashed after IPOD WAS installed in USB port (no sound). When purchased in 5/09, I requested a deck that would accommodate up and coming electronic equipment including the anticipated release of the 5th gen IPOD. Assurance was given by the sales personnel that this particular deck with THE SERVICE AGREEMENT WOULD FIT THE NEEDS DESCRIBED. THIS WAS INDEED A RIP OFF!!! When I complained to all the stores about what has been happening they have been arrogant and rude. I felt they assumed I am a stupid, ignorant, blond female and I was treated as such. The solution that the store and customer care personnel came up with was unsatisfactory and unsafe. I have made a temporary fix and when they requested this information I stated:
"They needed to make a financial arrangement with me for this information since they did not give me correct information in prior dealings."
