I was promised that if my car warranty was not used I would get the full purchase price back and now I was told by the manager that "they don't honor verbal promises" Everett

I purchased a warranty with my car in November of 07. I was assured several times that the warranty cost would be reimbursed if it was never used. I never used my warranty and once it expired I called my salesman, Johnny Greene, and he again reassured me that it would be reimbursed and to call the warranty company.

When I called UCC, the company the warranty is through, they told me that my warranty wasn't set up that way. I again called Johnny and he again assured me that the warranty was reimbursable and he would look into it. I called him several times and my calls were not returned. When I finally reached him on 7-28 he gave me the email address of the UCC sales representative and told me to contact him. After several attempts I got an email back from him. I tried contacting Johnny for about a week and he refused to respond or take my calls.

I then filed a complaint with the BBB on Aug 7. The dealership contacted me on Aug 18 and I again explained my issue. I was called back on Aug 19 and spoke with several managers and. I again explained my issue and they of course denied that I was ever told that. I explained that I have witnesses to him saying that and that I KNOW what I was told. The sales manager Wally told me he would try to come to a compromise and would call me back.

When he called me back he stated that his employee told him he never told me anything and that they don't honor verbal promises. I said so it is your dealerships policy to lie to your customers and he said "well thats a little harsh". What else does we don't honor verbal promises mean!

I spent $2600 on a warranty that I never used and I was assured that I would get my money back if it wasn't used. It was never used and I expect my money back
