Lied about warranty

I bought a 2004 Chevy Aveo because I needed something newer and great on gas. I also needed at least a two year warranty. I would be traveling 100 miles per day to school, so I wanted assurance that the warranty would cover me for the two year duration. I was assured by both my salesman and the sales manager that a warranty to suit me was going to come with the car.
This was 90% of the reason that I bought the car; it was for the warranty. Over and over I was assured, " Don't worry about it". At signing, again I was assured of a warranty to cover my specific needs.
It was then that I was offered an extended warranty, which the salesman described as a warranty to cover my cd player and air conditioner, nothing about my power train, so I declined it. Who cares about the cd player, I use my car to drive.
When 12 months later my timing belt broke, I called the dealership. I had no warranty. It had expired at 60,000 miles. The car had 47,500 on it when I bought it. I would have NEVER bought a car with only 13,000 miles left on the warranty, knowing I would use that in half a year. With a threat of the BBB, the salesman told me to call him and he might help with the cost of the repair. What a cheat! They knew I wanted the car solely for the warranty and instead of being honest about what was left of the warranty, they chose to lie and sell me the car regardless. Now, the timing belt blew again, taking a valve and piston with it. My car is dead, and with no warranty to back me up, due to deceptive selling practices, I have found myself at the receiving end of a dirty deal. Thanks alot Lawrence Chevrolet.
