My husband took our 1985 Pontiac Fiero into Start Mart for a new starter. He found them in the yellow pages for free installation. When he went in they had him sign a release saying if the starter was obstructed there would be a fee of $0-$50.00.

When he went to pick the car up there was a fee of $50.00 additional dollars because the starter was obstructed. People that I have spoken to that also have used this company say they also had to pay the fee.

I haven't heard of anyone that has gotten free installation from this company that draws people in my saying, "HOME OF FREE INSTALLATION". On this car most things are obstructed, but not the starter. They also guarantee life time warranty, well here it is 8 months later and the starter is out again... Unfortunatly I have moved to CA, so it does no good.
