Citi FinancialAuto It's like they WANT to repo my car! Columbous

We bought a car through Citi last febuary. Shortly after I lost my job we tried or best to ake our payments, however we fell behind.
Their coustomer service is appalling. We tried calling and asking for a deferment, which they approved, without notifying us that doing so wold lead to an increase in our APR.
NOW we are in the sittuation where our car is in the "Loss Prevention Department" & scheduled for repo. I only know this b/c I demanded to know, they had no intention of informing us.
We got a loan to cover what we are behind to catch us up and put us back in the green. The organazition (through the military) that gave s our loan ct a check to the company and I have been calling every day for the last two weeks to find out where to send it. They punt me on hold for ridiculous amounts of time and transfer me from one department to the other and then finnaly send me to an office that ALWAYS seems to be closed.
I finaly convinced someone to actaully SPEAK to me and asked her where to mail the check. She told me that I cannot mail the check that I must WIRE the money. I tried to expalin the sittuation to her, that I CANNOT wire the money, because I have a drafter check that I must ail them and she interupted me by saying "Well sorry then" AND HUNG UP!
I dont know what to do! I am trying to pay these people the money I owe them. It seems like they do not want it. Like they would rather repo my car than allow me to bring my account current! Please, if any one knows what I can do let me know! I have two small children and cannot afford to lose my car. And i have the money to pay them!
