Columbus Country Dodge Ripoff Liars who rip you off when buying a ca

I bought a car from these people that was represented as a dealer "demo" and supposedly never been titled. As this was a local business in a small town, I believed what they told me. Within a few weeks, water was running down into the floorboard from under the dash and soaking the carpet. It took a long time to get them to repair it as they supposedly couldnt get the parts they needed. Then the "check engine" light kept coming on. This is on a 2004 model car purchased in 2005 with less than 20,000 miles. I have had the car in for repair numerous times as it is under warranty. First they told me it was maintenance related repair and not covered under warranty and now they just cant find anything wrong even though the car makes a horrible whining noise, runs really rough and is hard to start.

When I began to have so many problems, I did what I should have done in the beginning—check the history of the car. I found that this car was not a dealer "demo" car from a Houston dealership—it was a former rental car from Florida! Not only had the car been titled before (contrary to what Daniel, the salesman at Columbus Country, told me) but twice and was then sold at an auto auction in Houston! Not only that, but during the time that the car was registered to the rental car company in Tampa, more than one hurricane went through the area. When I confronted them about this as I would have never bought the car if I had known it was a rental car, they just shrugged it off as "oh well"! This place is a big ripoff and engages in shady trade practices and when you ask them to stand behind their product, they are rude and obnoxious. DO NOT by a car from these people or you will be sorry.
