This Company creates fake cause of engine problem so they do not have to pay!

I purchased Auto Repair Warranty, Inc aka Auto Repair Group, LLC full Bumper to Bumper complete coverage and also paid the extra for a zero deductable. I got the 48 month/54,000 mile complete coverage on a Saab 9-5se that I purchased from the Saab dealer in Maine. It had 64,000 miles when I purchased so had to purchase the extended warranty from a third party.
I kept up all my scheduled maintance for the car.

Recently while out on trip to California my car started misfiring. I took teh car to a Saab authorized repair shop and they showed me a very very slight drip leak in the head gasket and said it needed to be replaced and that is also the reason for the missfire. There was still plenty of water in the water reserve.

I called Auto Repair Warranty, Inc. And told them about the problem and where I was taking it for repair. I took it on the 18th and had to get a rental car that would be covered under the warranty. They told the repair shop to take the engine apart so they could inspect it.

IT Took them over a week to go and inspect the engine then they said they would not cover the repair because the car over heated. The car never over heated and the mechanics at the repair shop also told them it never over heated. The day prior to taking for repair I took to the Saab dealer for 2nd opinion and they could verifiey that there was no overheating. I took it back to the first repair shop to save the insurance company some money as they were slightly cheaper.

Auto Repair Warranty, Inc. Would not even listen they said there inspector said it over heated and they would not cover any repair cost nor the rental car cost and that was that.

DO Not Buy from this company they will create a reason to not pay the warranty. I also spoke to another person after this happened to me that also had Auto Repair Warranty, inc. He and his wife said they did the same thing to them they created a problem that was not at all what happened and refused to pay.
