Late delivery, scam tracking and no customer service

On July 23 I dropped a package at a Fedex agent office in California and payed for a July 25 delivery to a recipient in Dubai. The Fedex tracking web page told me the package was delivered on July 25 but that was in fact a lie and that the package was delivered the following day instead. The recipient insists that their office is open all day and has a receptionist throughout the day and the package was delivered on July 26.

I called Fedex customer service who took my information and told me that I would get a call back from the appropriate department. About three days later Fedex called leaving me a number to call back. When I called that number I got a recording telling me I must leave a message. I left a message and I have not heard from Fedex since. Fedex has defrauded me and harmed me. To add insult to injury, Fedex still has an unresolved issue; they have my information and have not followed up. Today is September 9. This is disgusting and shameful. I will avoid Fedex like the plague.
