I got my $299.00 refunded I would like to share my story

My fiance and I got scammed into an offer from Promotional Discount Offers. Needless to say, I was livid and I got our money back. Our credit union wasn't any help at all, so I did all the foot work myself. The scam is that, for $299.00 these crooks offer you a Visa with a $2,500.00 credit limit. Believe me, you will never see your Visa card!!! Here's what to do...

Call your bank and INSIST they give you the name of the bank that got your money. If you have online banking the only thing you will see is a phone number and probably the words "discount offer".in our case, the bank was: Terrace Bank in Temple Terrace, Florida. I called them and they told me to call ACH commerce. ACH Commerce is in the business of electronic funds transferring.in other words, they just move money around. They told me I needed the 15 or 16 digit "trace number" from my bank.

You can reach ACH Commerce at 1-800-724-8780, but be sure you have the Trace Number before you call. ACH Commerce will give you the name and phone number of the company that was authorized to take the money from your account.in our case it was a company called: Global Marketing Group in Tampa, Florida. I simply explained to them the situatuion and of course they acted like they had no idea that they were representing a company that was nothing but crooks and liars. I told them to go to this website and read all about it!

The money was credited back to our checking account within 36 hours, that was 2 days ago. I have put this real simply but you should know that you must be an advocate for yourself and your family. We have a son that is 5 that has juvenile diabetes and uses $997.00 worth of insulin and supplies every 3 months. We have a daughter that is 2 and uses $428.00 worth of inhaltion meds every month. It's not that $299.00 would have left us on the street, it's the point that the way I saw it, they are taking my childrens medication away and/or the food off their table. If you look at it in those terms, you will do what I did!!!

I filed reports with the Better Business Bureau in New York as well as in Florida. I filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission. I contacted the Districe Attorney's Office in Tampa. Also, the Office of Consumer Protection in Tampa. I called Senator Crist's Office in Tampa. I called the Hillsbourough County Tax Collectors office in Tampa, they are the people that issue business licenses for that county. I mean I was not going to give up.

Promotional Discount Offers is a company that hides behind a p.O. Box in New York!!! We made 8 phone calls to them to try to get the refund we were promised and we were cussed out and called stupid. We were told that we "misunderstood" the offer. Well my response is, I don't think all the people that have filed with this website "misunderstood" I mean, we aren't all stupid, right? So please, take the steps to get your money back, don't give up, be persistent, and let's get these crooks. I'm happy to have the money back but I would honestly be happier if someone went to jail over it. We are hard working people that don't deserve it!!!
