Payments Reported Late and Delayed Check Cashing After Takeover

Midland Mortgage Company purchased my mortgage 2 years ago. Ever since they took over, my payments have been reported as late. They even kept me from refinancing at another bank, because late to them is one day after your due date, not 30 1 like other mortgage companies.

They do not pick up their mail, or if they do, they wait an extended time to cash the checks. This month I discovered they decided not to cash our payment for last month. Because I did fall behind, it is their "policy" to only accept a payment and a half when you fall behind. I cannot believe they would not accept a payment.

Watch out for this company. They are eager to jump into foreclosure by conducting business this way. I also sent in four signed documents to have my spouse placed on my account, and this has not happened either. I would never use this company. I regret the day Homeside sold our contract to them.
