Billing Slips Arrive Late, Making Payments Later They refuse to send a printed payment book, and every month the address seems to change Columbus, OH

When ABN Amro transferred ou mortgage to Citi Mortgage, we groaned, as we had serious problems with the Citi Group when they took over our Sears Credit account, (a Mastercard account)
They failed to issue a payment book, preferring to individually mail payment notices, which invariably arrive too late to process a payment before the due date (eg. Our Jan 1 payment slip arrived today 12-31-07, along with another letter from Citi dated 12-19-07.
Our mail from Dayton to their Columbus OHio payment center takes 1-2 days max, and yet our payments are consistently applied on the 16th or after each month since Citi took over the account.

Is this ethical — most definitely not
is it illegal - this is yet to be determined (I guess), since Citi still has approval to operate in Ohio and most other states, but this may need to change.

How can I get Citi to issue either a resasonable payment option (that doesn't charge a fee — $10 online payment, $20 check by mail — what a ripoff) or
give me a payment book so I can send the payment prior to the due date.

Is there any violation of statute in any of these practices that can instigate an investigation by either state or federal attorney's general???

So far they haven't issues a 30 day late notice, but I will be checking next week to be sure, since this is their standard practice, to threaten a late fee and get electronic payment, then issue the late notice anyway...

A call for action... Don't let them win,
strong - arm tactics should not be tolerated.
