I have used Citibank ATM card for withdrawing cash at ATM machine. The transaction was declined got the report of unable to complete the transaction. I was sure that there is sufficient fund available in my account. But my statement showed that the transaction has been done and amount has been debited. When I logged this compliant with the Citibank bank took 3 months to investigate at last they said that they are confirming that transaction is valid. I asked them for proof, bank replied that they need a FIR to give me the proof for this transaction. I was out of country for my business trip. So I have no option for this to complete.

While using your ATM card make sure you have the proof of transaction especially your transaction is declined by ATM.

If there is a electronic failure in the ATM also you have to bare according to bank's reply.
