We were sold a directv package by a sales rep who appears to have directly lied to us and no one at Directv has been willing to take responsibility for his statements or moved to correct the wrong-doing. When we signed up for our package in december we told the rep we were moving in Feb and asked if we should wait to sign up after our move. He told us that moving our services would be no problem, Directv would take care of it for us and we would not have to pay a penny. 3 months later we are trying to move and have been informed that it actually costs $107 to have our equipment reinstalled at the new location and that the sales rep we spoke to must have been mistaken as it's only free to move if you've had your services for over a year. I understand people make mistakes and maybe the rep was new or maybe he was just trying to get a sale. Bottom line no one that i've spoken to at Directv has offered me a solution and I feel wrongly taken advantage of. I am not going to pay to move my services not because of the fee but because of the unprofessionalism exerted by Directv's unwillingness to take responsibility for the actions of its sales rep and make it right to me, the customer. I'm considering canceling my services and paying the outrageous cancellation fee in order to go back to Comcast, a company that i've never had these kinds of customer service issues with.
