I called direct tv to review my bill charges. During our discussion the representative frequently thanked me for being a long time loyal customer. After repeating this to me several time, I asked why an appreciated long time customer was charged 60% more each month for their service than a new customer. Her only answer was to offer me a $5 discount per month. What a joke.
