Winddstream e-mail problem with Embarq

Have been emailing the same address to embarq from my windstream account for several years when suddenly I start getting "mail delivery failure" notifications. Embarqmail.com can email me but Windstream cannot reply, email etc to embarqmail.com addresses. Have spent several hours on phone with everyone from cust serv to tech service and online chat with email notifications that problem would be fixed in 48 hours. That was 10 days ago and after many more calls and emails still not working. 1 Windstream tech said " we are blacklisted by Embarq".
I have been promised calls back with no calls and when I email back to the original complaint I get answered with I need to call them only to get the same run around.
