Ruined my wedding

I went on Carnival Cruise Lines went greater than 50 of my friends for my destination wedding. The wedding was planned through the cruise line and all fees were paid up front. I flew my own pastor to the destination for the wedding and no discount was offered for not needing that service to be provided. The cruise line did not offer any discount to us for despite the number in the group. They stated no other group rates were available. We sent all names and email addresses to the Carnival Cruise line travel person so that possibly we could all at least eat dinner at the same time the night of the wedding or the night before. This did not happen. The day of the wedding the captian announced that we may not be docking at the intially stated port. Members of the wedding party were dismayed and we began to look for alternative solutions. The wedding planner was not seen or heard of at this time. When the captian changed his mind and decided to dock, I phoned the purser and asked if an announcement could be made so that the guest for the wedding would be aware the wedding was back on as planned. This did not happen. We also paid Carnival for the transportation to and from the ship assuming to have comfortable luxury transportation for minimally the bride and groom. No, this did not happen either. The car was a 1960 something or another with doors that did not open. I notified Carnival of the need for handicapped assessiblility, as my brother is paralyzed. This was not met either. The location had to be changed at the last minute to accomodate this request and WE ALSO PAID AND CONFIRMED THAT OUR WEDDING WOULD BE VIDEOTAPED. No video was ever taken or produced. The cruise line had added in some many additional last minute cost that the cost tripled! They did not offer any refund for the lack of videography or compensation since many guest went on the cruise but did not attend the wedding, due to the lack of organization of the wedding planner (carnival's employee) as well as the lack of announcements. If you are planning a wedding do not use carnival! I will never be able to watch my wedding, as i can not relive that day, and as the years fade we continue to wish we could have shown that to our children and hopefully future grandchildren. The corporate office as well as on board staff did not attempt to compensate us for this loss, but instead offered a discounted second cruise on their ship. This cruise in the end cost me 1500.00 additional dollars!!! Their public relation policy leaves a lot to be desired but i personally, will chose to spend my dollars elsewhere.
