Brought a 7 days Western Caribbean Cruise on July 7 for wedding anniversary. Had to cancel because by husband got sick and was hospitalized. When Carnival was contacted on August 5, replied on August 8,201. Stated they will not be able to refund me because I did not purchase "cruise insurance." It should be apart of the fare if it is that fixed. All of you out there read the fine prints.
