Carnival Cruises Cruise with my IDs!

So my now wife and I decide to make our wedding easy and have our wedding on the Holiday, a Carnival Cruise ship out of LA. The wedding was awesome and the first couple days of the cruise were okay but on the last night while preparing for departure the next day, we discover my passport and birth certificate are missing. I left the two items in my ticket booklet which was in my parents room. My mother reported to me later that she packed away the ticket booklet in a safe place after the wedding so we have easily narrowed down that they two IDs were stolen during our wedding. After calling security and letting them search my room and my parents room, we went to sleep very late accepting the fact that our immediate departure to Jamaica upon arrival back home would have to be cancelled due to the fact that I would not be able to get past customs without proper id. The next morning there was a note slipped under the door stating my passport was left at the pursers office. When we arrived to pick it up, there was a note attached stating it was found in the steward's locker! He stole it! Since the birth certificate was folded inside the passport, he stole that also! Carnival refuses to give us any info since on whether they interviewed the steward to determine my possessions where-abouts or anything and have since only offered us 15% off of our next cruise that we will never, ever take! Some wacko could be out there faking to be me and Carnival will not admit to any wrong doing. If they tell me one more time I should have locked it up I am going to puke! I left it out because I had just put on my tux and went to a wedding! I shouldn't have to hide things from their employees. Anyways, I hope this is published so people at least be careful but hopefully people avoid this awful organization and spend their hard earned money with a respectable company..
