Jet Blue

This is a heads up for others who use the internet for online travel booking. Jetblue does not reimburse for cancelled flights - even if you cancel the flights the same day. All other reputable airlines allow you to book and cancel flights wihtin a 24-48 grace window without charging you. JetBlue not only charges you $50 to cancel, but they keep the remaining flight charge in an account to be used during the next 12 months on their airline and do not refund it!

If you rarely travel and would not have need to travel where they fly, you basically paid hundreds (or thousands) of dollars for nothing.

I booked two flights to Phoenix during the National Chanpionship week to make sure I could get them only to find out I couldn't go. I cancelled the same day, got charged $50 for the "administrative service" and received an email saying the remainder would be credited, leaving a zero balance. It showed the charge to my credit card account and a line under it showing the credit. Turns out the credit goes to JetBlue if you never travel with them. Pretty deceitful, shadey business if you ask me.
