Hotels.com
Ripoff doesn't censor affiliates

Traveling & Tourism

Hotels.com makes a case not to censor or refuse any hotels from being an affiliate. Hotels.com does carry "Best Places, " but certainly not for $69 a night and not in North Little Rock. Where I can see that you were disrupted but the noise and put-off by the cleanliness of the hotel, remind yourself that your were in a HOJO in Arkansas. The Ritz would not be an accurate expectation. If you booked online or on the phone, you were made aware of the cancellation penalties. I realize that you are not to fault for there being an Army Unit station at the hotel, but Hotels.com is not at fault for this either. Even if your stay was not satisfactory, Hotels.com is a business, one you entered into agreement with willingly, and it should be regarded as such.

One other thing to keep in mind, "Best Places" is entirely subjective. It may have been a roach motel to you, but could be considered the Taj Mahal by someone less fortunate just looking for a place to stay for the night.
