Ripoff takes no action against filthy hotel Internet

This is the report I filed with Travelocity
re: New Orleans Grand Palace Hotel 3/10/05-3/13/05 as mentioned in the complaint.

Technically, you are not responsible for the delayed flights both to and from the conference but, it was inconvenient and added to my frustration.

The New Orleans Grand Palace Hotel was four stars short of a FLOP HOUSE and you should be embarrassed to feature it. The place was filthy with inch thick dust on the pictures, so filthy that I wrote pigs in it. The faucets spewed rusty water for five minutes daily before it cleared. The tub drain very slowly and the toilet had days old feces in it. There was paint tracked through the URINE and BEER smelling carpet, and dripped on the curtains. Ceiling tiles were missing over the sink, and it exposed the musty and moldy smelling walls. The threadbare linen was stained and had holes in the pillowcases. There was no phone or TV remote control in the room, which may be a blessing because the TV reception was very poor. I never received clean towels or coffee after twice asking for it. The room had not cleaned in three days. The elevators and flushing toilets were a constant nuisance in the night as the walls reverberated.

When I checked out, the clerk actually had the nerve to tell me to wait, as if she was planning to add on some bogus charges (possibly for the non-existent phone). I am not sure who I should demand a refund from at this time. This is the third consecutive negative experience we have had with Travelocity recommended accommodations.

Travelocity states the motel DENIED the charges so therefore the refused to make a refund or take any action. So what am I a liar who concocted the whole ordeal??? Beware
