Long Phone Waits and Incorrect Charges Frustrate Loyal Customers

This feedback is for Allegiant Airlines. I am a semi retired electrical engineer. I myself purchased in excess of six round-trip tickets in 2013.

This feedback is from six of us in my immediate circle. We have a lawyer, a seasoned pharmacist, an insurance company owner, a graphics designer, an equipment service representative; there are others. Here's our story.

We like the low-fare small airport formula. We suffered through many of your startup and growth pains. As business owners we understand there will be challenges and corrections in any business. We had hoped that you would grow stronger and we would enjoy long. Unless there is some sort of miracle I don't see this gang sticking with it any longer.

Today the service engineer spent over 100 minutes to change a flight and he called it torture. There are many stories of our long phone calls, sometimes without success in changing or scheduling new flights. This is our strongest objection to continuing. There are other factors like incorrect charging and overcharging. Flight schedules have been a little sketchy and canceled flights have had some bearing. I hope you can get your act together but you may have lost quite a few loyal startup customers.

Several weeks ago I flew to North Carolina to service a customer and I finished early. I tried to make a phone call to change my flight and in my flushed ration I rented a car and drove 11 hours back to Florida.
