Allegiant Airlines has worst customer service ever!

We needed to cancel a flight a few hours before it was taking off, and could not get through to the phone number after 7 tries. I even sent an email, desperately. When we did get through, we had to wait 25 minutes, and then the agent was so rude it was nauseating. No credit is issued within 24 hours of a flight, and no changes, rescheduling, etc. Lost $178.00. Of course, the agent, so happily, told me that it says that on their web site. No exceptions for emergencies? My father barely lived after emergency surgery (he'll now live to be 85). Thanks, Allegiant! You stink!
