Nightmare with Travelocity! - Ticketing and reservations

Attempting to contain costs, I purchased my December flight tickets well in advance through Travelocity. I was promptly informed that the 4 tickets had been issued to me. My credit card was promptly billed for the transaction and I had no reason to suspect a problem until I happened to check to see if the flight times had changed in November. This was when I found out through Travelocity that my trip had been cancelled shortly after the booking in June! What a nightmare! I spent the next 3 weeks speaking with a number of Travelocity employees, spending over 6 hours on hold plus many more hours relaying my problem over and over again. At one point I was told that I was being transferred to a supervisor and after explaining the situation for the umpteenth time I was told they had to transfer my call to a supervisor admitting that they were in fact not a supervisor! Mistakes happen however I was shocked at how an agency of this magnitude forced me to be the one to keep pushing until a comparable flight was found, booked and charges finally made right. I will never trust Tavelocity to handle my travel arrangements again!
