Poor Coverage and Dropped Calls at Cleveland Suburb Office

I've been a Verizon customer for years. I travel nationally and internationally and Verizon seems to offer the widest service area. However, in my office which is in a major suburb of Cleveland the service is terrible. Every time I see one of those Verizon "Dead Zone" commercials my blood pressure goes up and I get an urge to slap that nerd who leads the thousands of so-called support people behind him.

People are always telling me that they called me on my cell phone and there was no answer. If a call does make it through to me the odds are that the call will be dropped in the first minute. This only happens when I am in my office, but it is especially frustrating because most of my calls are business calls.

When I complain to Verizon I get one of two stock answers, "dial *228 to upgrade your telephone service" or "you can purchase a special antenna for $350". Dialing *228 never helps and I don't want to spend the $350 for a service that I already pay for.

Any ideas?
