Tha A.P.A. Corporate offices in St. Louis allowed a regional franchise owner in West Ga. To run the local league in a manner contradicting the official rules of the A.P.A.
After several attempts to report cheating and intimidation (unsportsman-like conduct) were ignored (actually, she lied and played me along by telling me everything was being investigated when in fact she was just patronizing me and letting the behavior continue unchecked,) I was tossed out of the league without due process; a whistle-blower stone-walled and swept under the rug.
Their integrity is zero; their rule book null and void.
"As long as the two team captains agree on the compromise, all is well, " even if it contradicts and breaks the rules, according to Wayne & Gaye Jackson. They were the league operators here until they sold their franchise during the exposure and reporting of these fraudulent activities to the main offices.
A major rule was broken and successfully compromised and covered up.
It is the "backbone" rule of the A.P.A.: the 21-Rule. I was keeping score at the time of the infraction and pointed it out to the captain, but she chose to ignore the rulebook and apply her own style of justice. She was drunk and all she wanted was for us not to fight over the "mistake" made by our opponents' captain
At first, Corporate informed me that I was doing the right thing. But then the story changed; lies were told and I was the bad guy. After all, Wayne & Gaye were pulling in lots of money for them; they wouldn't miss my measley membership dues.
