League Of American Poets
League of American Poets is a Scam

Miscellaneous

I believe that the League of American Poets is a scam. I paid $29.95 for an anthology of poems titled A Celebration of Poetry. This book was to include my daughter's poem, which had been, according to the League of American Poets, selected as part of a poetry contest. The letter my daughter received was from Maggie Whitford, Senior Editor. We sent our check September; it is now January and we have yet to receive the book. The phone number (410) 602-0384 is no longer in service.
