T-Mobile Keeps charging you after you cancle service

Shops, Products, Services

I Cancel servicewith T-Mobile because of an auto crash that put me out of work. 6 months later I got abill for $875.00. I was still out of work and when I called them to find outwhy I was being charges I find that it was because they had not closed my account and keptcharging me. They had told me they had no recording of me cancel my account onthe day I called but could see that i had not used my phone in months.

When I first called I remember when I first called to cancel that they said this is being recorded. So I mentioned this to the representative and they told me they would have to review this and look into this. I figured they would call me back in a few days instead I got a bill in the mail for $980 dollars. When I

Called them back they said their investigate shows they conveniently had no recording for that day I in question.

I figured that I better pay on this to avoid collection and talk to them in reducing the bill for $600. I sent the money and thought that was the end of that (I should have certified mailed it for it was money i could not afford to lose). All most a year later it was sent into a collection for $1017.

When I was contacted by collection, they said there was no record of me agreeing to pay $600 to T-Mobile or messages about cancel. After talking to them they agreed to collect on the original $600 and said theywould send me a bill.

When I got the bill they wanted the full amount $1017 and a day later bill that said $915. If you get locked in with T-Mobile, a little advise to you. Record any conversations with them, because they will rip you off in the end and if you send them a closing bill certify it.
