Ripoff, Rude totally trying to only upset me more by their actions

I recently purchased a "Car ready" CD player and a Boz Scaggs Cd. The Total was $115 and some odd cents (I even bought the warrenty) The day after bought the CD player I had to return it because It just wasnt the type I really wanted for the car, and the Cd, was scratched.

Well, we all know how they package these things, in that REALLY hard plastic that you need a hack saw to open it. I got to the store with everything except the plastic wrapping it came in, the CD was in the packaging still. I was told that they could not exchange or give me my money back because I didnt have the plastic outer wrapping with some number on it.

I asked to speak with a manager, and was told by the clerk SHE was the manager. I said "so you are telling me I have no choice here, I have to Keep this player beacuse I dont have the wrapper?" She said "YES" I said I want the NUmber for the Main office or I want to speak to YOUR boss. She excused herself by saying "just a minute" as rude as she could, she went to a computer and sat down for 15 minutes (YES, I was watching the clock) THen started talking to another employee about the ASSHOLE at the counter (ME) who wants a number.

With that the other person comes over and asks to help me I said I was being ripped off and I want some action. She leaves. I stood there for an hour and a half with people looking at me laughing at me talking about me, I thought for sureI was on a T V gag show. Finally I asked to be waited on or I was calling the police since I felt they were robbing me.

This got the attention of another manager, who asked if I was ok< I explained the situation, He then looked over my receipt and said its policy to read the huge sign in front of my face. So I asked about the cd, I wanted to get another one, he stated that I have to get the SAME ONE, I said I didnt really like it, despite the scratch, he said I HAD to get the SAME ONE.

I went to look for one there was none. They called someone and they pulled one from the back I guess. At this point I had been through enough and wasted time 2 hours I was there. I told the clerk they can keep EVERY THING That this was the most unbelieveable day of my life. I have been in touch with the proper people (not from BEST BUY) and am working on seeing that someone
else does not get taken for ANY MONEY, let alone $115.

I wonder who put MY money IN their pocket. I hope they put it to good use, like to the Flood victims of that area.
