I know you've probably heard about this but I'm so pissed off that I needed to tell someone.
I bought Mr. Bean animated version double DVD in Merillvile, IN Best Buy, but after I arrived here (in Chicago) I realized one DVD was missing. So I went to exchange it at Old Orchard Best Buy (Skokie Blvd. And Golf Rd.) thinking that there should be no problem. They said that the item was opened and that there is nothing they can do about it.

Of course it was open! How the h*ll would I realize one of the DVDs is missing?!?! So I spent almost half an hour talking to one of th store managers but nothing helped. Finally I decided to stop by Norridge Best Buy and I came up with the story that the DVD and the package itself are damaged and I requested the exchange. They accepted it. So I thought: ok, it was just one of those bad days everyone has from time to time. That same night I put my Mr. Bean DVDs but both were badly scratched and they couldn't play at all. I went back, explained what happened and since I already had one exchange receipt they started giving me those looks. I kindly asked to exchange this damaged DVD package and the girl said that company's policy says the're not allowed to return the money?!? I never asked for my money back but then she started almost yelling at me.

Anyway, they accepted one more time to exchange that DVD but no... They had no more copies of it. OK, I said, they'll probably let me grab something else for the same price (or higher) - and they did. After couple of minutes I came back with exchanged items which were two audio CDs and one of 'em was digi pack. Because the policy says those items have to be open before check out she started not opening but tearing CD case and especcialy that carton digi case apart. I was looking at her face while she was changing colors, pissed for no reason. I didn't want to step down to her educational and etic level, so I turned my back, took my CDs and left. BUT, I'm gona report this to the store manager and hopefully get a response.
