Not a hungry salesman

I hired Steve Auslander in summer of 2000 to sell my condo in San Luis Obispo and hopfully find us a new home.

He eagerly accepted the selling job, but did not live up to his reputation as a hungry realtor.

The house was on the market for a short time and Steve reccomended we take an offer. It was ten thousand dollars less than we were asking, AND the buyers wanted all new apliances, flooring, my washer and dryer and paint. He said it was a good offer so we took it. When I asked about his helping us find a new home he blew us off, he didn't even try to find anything for us.

Less than six months later condos in the same complex are selling for twenty thousand more than we got, and the buyers did not get new paint or new appliances etc. Four years later they have gone up over 100,000.00 dollars from what we sold at.

Steve did not advise us about the changing market, or offer us options to be able to stay in our home. He did not try to find us a good offer, and he made no effort to help us find another home, and he walked away with an easy commision.

I would not reccomend him to list or sell a home.
