Will not return or exchange item

I purchased a hat for $30 on Friday and on Sunday I went to put it on and realized it was too big. On my receipt it says no returns but items can be exchanged, and exchanges can also be refused, what kind of business is that? There in NOWHERE in the store that says anything about that. I went back on Tuesday to exchange it for a smaller one and was told they will not exchange it. They claim it was worn which it was not, all several stickers including the price tag was still on the hat. They were also out of the hats so I couldn't get an exchange anyway. I told them I would be happy if they just gave me store credit and they wouldn't even do that, I even found a shirt that was $8.00 cheaper and said I would be happy with that and eat the $8.00 and they wouldn't even do that. Manager/owner was rude, asian decent, probably hates Americans, there was no signs anywhere that states their return policy. I will not ever shop there again and I will make sure as many people as I can help NOT to shop there.
