Either Beyond The Rack is a complete scam or they really just don't care about their customers, as long as they make money to keep their business going. From my experience, I would say they are a scam for sure. I ordered some boots from them on October 13, oblivious to their bad reputation. It was only after I had my order confirmed that I read reviews on the website. It has been four weeks now and, up until I emailed them complaining, I never received any emails or updates. They finally emailed me after I explained how angry I was that they said it should only take 3 weeks for my item to be shipped from their warehouse. They said that the supplier was "unusually" late with sending out the shipment and that it was a very "unforseen" issue. My problem with this little excuse is that almost all of the reviews that I've read about the website explain that BTR tells them that their order has shipped late, to later only find out that they never had their merchandise in the first place. So this is just a story to appease customers. The rep went on to tell me that I would be contacted with any further information that comes up or when they receive my merchandise. I had to ASK them to email me with updates, so I highly doubt I'll know anything about my item until it either comes in or doesn't at all. I am extremely furious right now for the fact that BTR gets away with losing people's merchandise and/or not having it in the first place by telling their customers that the supplier "unusually shipped your item (s) late". I can tell that something is going on here that isn't very professional by the fact that they called this mishap "unusual" even though it is just about the most frequent issue that occurs with customers. Also, BTR has been working with this particular supplier for a while now and works with them quite frequently so I doubt the supplier is that unreliable and irresponsible. I am going to take matters into my own hands now and actually contact the supplier, which I know exactly who it is, and ask them if they really sent the items late. If not, I'm sure the vendor won't be very happy to know that they are being blamed for BTR's unprofessional behavior and actions. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ever support this company and buy anything from their website. They will most likely lose your item (s), you won't get your item (s) for almost three months, or they will send you the wrong color, style, or completely different item. You will absolutely end up unsatisfied as so many others, including myself, have been with Beyond The Rack. Even if I get my item and/or receive a refund (I will not be happy with store credit because I do not ever want anything to do with BTR after this order is sorted out) I will not rest happy. BTR should be investigated by the BBB and would probably end up shut down because of their unprofessional dynamics.
