Bundles? The only bundle we got was the bundle of money they billed us!

We signed up for a Verizon Fios bundle. $99 per month for internet and cable. We didn't order any movie channels or any extras. Keep in mind, we had Verizon for over a year, and only transferred the service when we moved. When we got our first bill, it was $120 with set up fees, etc. No big deal. When we got our second bill, it was $485. We of course called their customer dis-service number and after 10 minutes of automation, we finally got a live person. She was less than friendly, and as soon as we told her we had a problem with the billing, she sighed in my ear and said "Ok, what's the problem?"

After 20 minutes of her looking at our account, she informed us that the bill was for HBO, Cinemax, etc PLUS they unbundled it. We never ordered any of that, plus our signed contract was for a bundle at $99. She said there was also "something" on the account from last year that was unpaid for $120 and that's why they unbundled it. She could not tell me, nor verify what it was that was unpaid from a year ago. We had the service for 14 months past the date she said it was from. She finally said she would re bundle our service and fix the billing.

The next statement we got was for $525. We called, same old story, but this time the 2nd rude lady told me that they can't discuss the bill until we pay it. WHAT? How can they just charge me $500 and demand I pay it before they discuss my incorrect bill? We spent a total of 5 hours on the phone with these people, and on 2 occasions when I asked for a manager, I was yelled at and told I AM the manager. I asked to speak with her manager and she said she doesn't have one and she's all I'm getting. Finally I gave up and told them to shove their $500 where they sit and I called the local office to cancel service. Then, they had the nerve to ask me to ship the boxes back to them. HA! Fat chance people. We dropped them like a stone and will NEVER use Verizon again! Lots of our friends had the same problem. Beware their scams!
