Not honoring gaurantee - customer service is bad

I ordered a Christmas gift with a guaranteed Christmas delivery. I inquired on it 2 days before Christmas with no reply. I was told the day after Christmas this item was on backorder and did not qualify for Macy's guarantee... I was Never told of backorder, which I told customer service and still Macy's does not honor their guarantee.
