Verizon Wireless
Shared my debit card information and someone had a great time charging my account

Shops, Products, Services

My debit card was charged with 11 12 month subscription services for an IPhone that I don't even have. Other erroneous charges appeared for Skype, et al and erroneous charges appeared on my Verizon Wireless bill. When I contacted Verizon Wireless 15 months ago, they canceled my phone service AFTER 10 days! Verizon also decided (by a part-time Sunday employee) that I owed $90.00 for getting out of my contract too early. I would still have the cell phone and number if my identity was stolen (or given away by Verizon) and my checking account raided. Its like paying a rapist for services rendered in my opinion.

I tried to contact and speak to someone in Verizon Wireless' Fraud Department but the number is NOT available to the general public and they only work 9-5 M-F. So do I. I sent them 4 separate letters with all of the information including the police report that my identity was stolen and my checking account raided but I never heard from the Fraud Department.

Now my account is with a collection agency.

Do NOT use automatic bill paying with Verizon Wireless-it is UNSAFE!
