Directv technician installed wrong receiver. I had to pay $300 for correct receiver with promise that cost would be credited to my account. It never was. After many attempts to correct situation through custmer service, I gave up.
I received promises that the credit would be applied at next billing cycle, then when it wasn't I was told that the person I talked to was not authorized to make such a promise, etc. Etc.
I am 64 years old, and I can honestly say that Directv is the worst company I have EVER dealt with; they're a bunch of thieves.
