Owner Verbally, Violently Assaults Young Employee With Customers Present. Ripoff!

With a store full of customers this past week on East Lake Rd.in Palm Harbor, FLA, Hass, the owner or manager of Quality Plus Cleaners, verbally and violently assalted a young employee from the phone. His assault was so loud that the whole store heard every word. The "F&" word was used more times than anyone could count, and the whole encounter assaulted the customers as well as the target of his RAGE - a young female counter clerk. His language shook this poor girl so hard that after he slammed the phone down in her ear, she had to embarrasingly excuse herself to try to calm down and stop crying.

It turns out that his violent rage was over the fact that the store computer had crashed - due to HIS placing an inexperienced clerk behind it the night before and expecting things to be fine. They weren't and he took HIS management failure out on the next person to open the store. It also seems that the night before (under the care of the inexperienced clerk) that none of the clothes customers dropped off the day before were processed in or cleaned (the clerk didn't know how to use the computer system) and this poor morning clerk was left with THAT mess. This clerk said she had worked a double shift the day before beacuse he had had a girl walk out and demanded she do so. She also said this wasn't the first time this owner raged at her. It seems as though he's known for his abusive behavior.

I saw this same clerk a couple of days ago and she said she was forced to quit - that she couldn't take the abuse anymore. Well, she had to suffer one last blow before she was able to be rid of this aweful person. She said when she went to get her paycheck (having worked several hours overtime) she was shocked to find that her boss had ripped her off for at least $90. She was supposed to have been given a raise and to have had a $100 bonus check for working a double for him in a clutch. Neither were there AND he had CUT her pay by $2 AN HOUR! Without warning!

AS a customer of this cleaners - LET ME ASSURE YOU... I will never give that man or his company another thin dime! He doesn't deserve to RUN a business. He deserves to be RUN out of TOWN. Never in my life have I seen an employer treat an employee as badly as this poor girl was treated. He is a bad, bad man and doesn't deserve YOUR business either! Please consider this before using Quality Plus in the future. There are too many good businessmen out there struggling to make a living. Please consider using one of them.
