Prestige Management LLC ambiguous offer, unlimited potential, minimal details scam

There are several filed reports on this website and similar claiming the same things about this "company".

First, I am an educated professional who replied to an ad about marketing. But I have also seen ads all over Craigslist and newspaper job sources for clerical or administrative positions. I found myself in a room of individuals who were straight off the street—obviously it was certainly not my resume that got me into the interviewing process.

On a building without a name or logo, with generic wall art and outdated furniture, it's pretty obvious that something is off about this situation. Everybody in the room asks, "What are we here for... Did you get any details about the position?" It is the full intention of this scheme to reel people in for a "safe" full-time job, then resort to hands-off third party sales techniques.

Somehow I made it through the first interview, although it was pretty clear that this Neil Johnston character couldn't have cared less if I was a monkey. He was in a room that wasn't anybody's office, with zero office equipment. Most of the employees who were actually WORKING at this building had greasy hair, tattoos, unfitting attire, etc. These were not the types of individuals who were earning high salaries and held to what most people consider decent standards of executive dress. I had been interviewing for real quality jobs, and found it pretty obvious that I wasn't going to get paid for my college and professional experience if I'm in a room full of people who have very little of either.

Neil invited me to a second interview, where his speech was EXACTLY the same as most of the other reports on here. He did not have the last name of the guy in Ft. Lauderdale because he "couldn't pronounce it" so instead made a joke. He said the "chairs were uncomfortable, designed to keep you awake". Right there, he was making it harder to research the connections he had with other people. My suspicion is that this guy was not actually their "master perfumer". Also, no mention was made that the "second interview" was TWO HOURS LONG. A reputable employer would make sure to advise you of that, so you wouldn't have any scheduling conflicts.

One of the other things that should be noted: I walked out on the second interview, but happened to reply to a different Craigslist posting regarding filing, I believe, and they started doing the same thing. I didn't catch their name (intentional on their part) and was offered another position for a totally different area of work. It's all the same scam, no matter how you put it. When I walked out,

This whole thing is a scam, and will not provide you with a solid position, hourly wage, good sales package, etc. If you are told to hold your questions until another day like I was, you should see the red flags and get out of there. If a position is so lucrative, yet requires so little of an employee, why would they be casting non-stop interviews and always expanding? Use common sense and protect yourself from these operations.

Even if you are desperate for a job, do not resort to this. You will waste time and money, and probably risk a lot more.
